Meet The Teacher

Hello! Thank you for visiting our classroom blog! For those of you that do not know me....I grew up in Elgin and am an EHS graduate. I graduated from Eastern Oregon University in 2001 and began teaching that year. I taught for three years, but when I decided to have children of my own I decided to resign so I could be at home with my kiddos while they were little. I would sub one or two days a week so I could stay in the education "loop." This worked for me for eight years, but once my children (Joe and Jacie) were both in school that meant it was time for me to return. THANKFULLY, I was hired back as a full-time teacher in June of 2013. I thoroughly enjoy my job! I love the challenges, the successes, and the mistakes; I enjoy every aspect!

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, camping, hiking, and spending time with my family and friends. There is nothing that brings me more joy than my children. I love watching my son play football, baseball, wrestle, and run track. My daughter is an absolute delight and I always say I will learn more from her than she will ever learn from me.

Please feel free to contact me if you would like to learn more or if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you again for visiting our classroom blog!
