This bulletin board includes a creative writing assignment about a leprechaun. Students in the class had a really good time creating a name and personality for their imaginary leprechaun.

Read to Someone

Part of our Daily 5 routine is reading to someone.....our class really enjoys this part of our reading routine!

"I can decide when to regroup 1 ten as 10 ones." Second grade students have been working on subtraction with regrouping. This can be a challenging concept, but I feel my second graders are catching right on! Keep up the good work, second graders :)

Read to Self Time! I love how my students get cozy and just read and read and read!

Read Across America! Our class thoroughly enjoyed having the middle school students come read with us! Definitely a fun way to celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday!
